Join us this winter for our first Yoga Enrichment Study. Yoga Study is a program designed for the yoga student who has the desire to study and explore the world of yoga but is not necessarily interested (or ready) to commit to a teaching certification.
As an Enrichment Study student, you will study along with our Teacher Training Students during our Winter Yoga Teacher Training.
Our Yoga Study is a powerful exploration into the traditions of yoga.
Dive deep into new learning about the diverse aspects of yoga including asana (poses), pranayama (breathwork), meditation, mantra, ayurveda, yoga philosophy and yogic lifestyle.
Individual growth and transformation are supported by the community we create together, fostering interconnection, community and the shared love of yoga.
About Yoga Enrichment Study
Yoga Study is a program designed for the yoga student who has the desire to study and explore the world of yoga but is not interested in committing to a teaching certification.
As an Enrichment Study student, you will study along with our Teacher Training Students, but will not participate in practice teaching or requirements involved in becoming a certified yoga instructor.
Yoga Study students will be taken on a journey of diving into yoga for the love of learning more about yoga. This option is about building a practice of curiosity, growth and lifelong learning.
Course Highlights:
1. Philosophical Foundations: Gain insights into the ancient yogic philosophies, including Patanjali's Yoga Sutras and the Bhagavad Gita. Explore the ethical principles (Yamas and Niyamas) that guide a yogic lifestyle.
2. Anatomy and Alignment: Deepen your understanding of the human body and its alignment in yoga postures. Learn how to adapt poses to individual needs, fostering a safe and effective practice.
3. Meditation and Breathwork: Immerse yourself in mindfulness practices, including various meditation techniques and pranayama (breath control), to enhance mental clarity and focus.
4. History and Evolution: Explore the roots of yoga, its evolution through time, and its diverse manifestations across cultures.

As an Enrichment Study student, you will study along with our Teacher Training Students.
Enrichment Study Students are not required to participate in the following Certification Requirements:
asynchronous coursework
anatomy study
homework assignments
quizzes & practicums
20 practice hours in-studio
10 community yoga classes taught
Enrichment Study Students are not committed to the Teacher Training attendance policy, however we strongly recommend attending each weekend to get the most out of the enrichment and community.
Certification requirements above can be included as optional to add on.
If a yoga study student decides to pursue certification, a bridge to certification will be provided.

Join the winter yoga teacher training cohort for fascinating lectures on the history and philosophy of yoga, the effects of yoga on your brain and body and the ethical precepts of yoga and how to incorporate these lessons in your everyday life.

Sample Weekend Schedule

10:15am - Noon Asana Lab/ Pose Breakdown
Noon -1pm Lunch
1:00 - 3:00pm Philosophy/ History of Yoga
3:00-5:00pm Yoga Practice
Program Fee: $800
Program fee includes an unlimited membership from enrollment through April 30, 2024 ($400 value). If you have an existing membership, that membership will freeze until program completion.
4 Month Payment Option: 4 payments of $225.
